News regarding "The Expendables 4" have suddenly slowed down after many months of rumors pertaining the movie where big names have been attached to the movie.
According to Crossmap, the recent reports on the signing of the distribution rights for "The Expendables 4" in China gave fans hope that the highly anticipated movie is still happening.
The reported also stated that the upcoming "Expendables 4" would be given an overall budget of about $100 million. The budget will exceed "Expendables 2" which is the most expensive film to date with a $92 million budget, Movie News reported.
None of the big names connected with the movie have been confirmed so far although two actors have already claimed that they will not be in the movie.
Salman Khan, a Bollywood superstar was one of the actors rumored to be part of "Expendables 4." All this started when he tagged Sylvester Stallone on a tweet. Stallone acknowledged the message and the exchange ended with Stallone stating that they would work together, explicitly mentioning "Expendables 4."
Salman may not be interested in leaving Bollywood if his recent interview is any indication though. He stated that he likes working in India a lot and he likes to deliver dialogues in Hindi. He added that he is happy there and if he says dialogues in English, it would look a bit weird.
Salman Khan continued by saying that Hollywood work extremely hard but they do not need to work that hard there. He does not see any point for they work for respect and it has taken so many years to earn it at Bollywood.
Another actor linked to "Expendables 4" was Hollywood's top stars, Jackie Chan and Dwayne Johnson. Jackie Chan confirmed during an interview few months ago that he has been asked to participate in the "Expendables" as early as the second installment in the "Expendables" franchise. He stated that he was not interested that much in making a cameo in the movie and would be happy to collaborate with Stallone instead.
Also, Hulk Hogan, the former wrestler was approached for the film. The "Expendables 4" is expected to be aired in 2017 although there is no confirmed release date.
