'Street Fighter 5' Update: Capcom Announce Beta Test 3 Schedule, Upgrades; Sequel To Add 3rd Strike Style Normal Priority System? [VIDEOS]

Street Fighter 5 is an upcoming fighting video game developed by Capcom for the PlayStation 4 and PC platform.

"Street Fighter 5" will feature the schedules and updates for the beta 3, as well as 3rd Strike Style Normal Priority System.

Capcom announced on its official website the schedules for "Street Fighter 5's" beta test 3 launch for the PlayStation 4 and PC platforms. The beta test 3 will start on Dec 18 12: 01 AM PT/ 8:01 AM PMT and ends on Dec. 20 8 PM PT/ Dec. 21 6AM GMT.

The "Street Fighter 5" beta test 3 will have three new game modes such as Ranked matches, Casual match, and a Training mode. There are also new features in the beta test 3 like the Capcom Fighters Network were in the game provides the latest information in the leaderboard rankings, have replays and search for potential game rivals. Battle Settings allows players to customize their profile, button configurations etc. The Option allows to gamers to change their sound and screen settings, The Christian Post reported.

Aside from the beta test 3 schedules, Capcom might be implementing an old game feature in "Street Fighter 5" as YouTube username periodikoSF posted a gameplay that sees "Street Fighter 3's" 3rd Strike normal priority system.

The 3rd Strike priorit sytem allows gamers to govern trades, basically stronger normal attacks beat weaker ones, special moves beats medium and light moves but trade with heavy moves and super moves beat special moves, Shoryuken reported. This methods will enable gamers to have extra priority on learning frame traps in both offensive and defensive positions, as well as a great way to escape pressure on certain situations.

Lastly, game creator Yoshinori Ono stated in an interview the reason why Capcom had to remove R. Mika's butt slap motion in the game is that they wanted gamers to access the sequel without offending or alienating anyone.

Capcom wanted to please not just the professional gamers and fans of the series, but players who have not yet introduced to the "Street Fighter" franchise.

The list of fighters in "Street Fighter 5" include Ryun, Chun-Li, Charlie Nash, M.Bison, Cammy White, Birdie, Ken Masters, Necalli,Vega, R. Mika, Rashid, Karin Kanzuki, Zangief, Laura, Dhalsim and F.A.N.G. Capcom teased that the first DLC characters could be Ibuki, Urien, Guile, Alex, Juri and Balrog, as well as a second wave of fighters coming soon.

"Street Fighter 5" will officially launch in Feb. 16, 2016 in North America and Feb. 18 in Japan for the PlayStation 4 and PC platforms.
