Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G Prime Update: Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 Chipset, 3100mAh Battery Pack, Android 4.4 KitKat MIUI 7 OS Equipped Available Now For Rs. 9999

The Xiaomi Redmi Note Prime, is a smartphone released in December 2015 exclusively in India, developed by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi Inc.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G Prime has rolled out on Dec. 15, Tuesday at exactly 10:00 AM IST. The handset is currently available exclusively via Mi.com and Amazon India.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G Prime is the topic of the China based tech company's Twitter posts these past few days, NDTV reported. Prior to release, Xiaomi posted several tweets teasing that the Prime will be coming, which made even a greater confusion that the handset being referred to was the Redmi Note 2 and not the Redmi Note 4G Prime. The company, however, clearly said that it was in fact the Redmi Note 4G Prime.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G Prime is being sold for a price tag of Rs. 9999, International Business Times reported. It will also feature a 5.5-inch HD screen with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution. Furthermore, the upcoming device will be backed up by an enhanced 3100mAh battery pack and will be equipped with a 16GB internal memory, which can be expanded to approximately 32GB via micro SD card.

Inside, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G Prime runs Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset paired with a 2GB LPDDR3 RAM. It is also equipped with Android 4.4 KitKat MIUI 7 OS.

In terms of camera, the Redmi Note 4G Prime features a 13MP main shooter that has autofocus with LED flash and a 5 MP secondary cam. Furthermore, the upcoming device supports Bluetooth 4.0, a dual sim card slot, GPRS/EDGE, micro USB 2.0, 3G, 4G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, as well as GPS connectivity.
