iOS 9.2 Jaibreak Update: Pangu Works On iOS 9.2 Tool Still; Cydia Tweaks For The Meantime

iOS jailbreaking is the process of removing software restrictions imposed by iOS, Apple's operating system, on devices running it through the use of software exploits.

Pangu is continuously working on 9.1 and 9.2 iOS jailbreaks despite Apple's tight security measures. Cydia tweaks, on the other hand, are available for iPhone and iPad customization.

Apple is reportedly working to get a tight security for its OS, but the jailbreakers such as Pangu seem to also be working double to create jailbreak tools especially for the company's 9.1 and 9.2 iOS. As for iPhone users who have jailbroken their handsets and are searching for new customization to tweak their iPad or iPhone, several Cydia tweaks are available to be explored.

iOS 9 updates have been released by Apple including iOS 9.0.1 9.0.2 and iOS 9.1. It is the iOS 9.2, however, that came mostly with bug fixes. There has still yet to be a jailbreak tool since iOS 9, which Pangu seems to finally be working on a tool, Mobipicker reported.

iOS 9.2 comes with minor fixes and enhanced stability to its Safari browser, plus several security fixes. Pangu's jailbreak team is reportedly looking for vulnerabilities and exploits in the beta versions of iOS 9.2 and are also waiting for the final release. Since the OS has been finalized and is now available, Pangu is exerting additional efforts to be able to finish the jailbreak tool soon.

Aside from the iOS 9.1 and iOS 9.2 jailbreak tools from Pangu being in the works, there are also 25 Cydia tweaks for iOS 9 jailbreaks, International Business Times  reported.

iPhone iOS 9 users can still use the iOS 9 jailbreak that Pangu has made last October. There have been no reports yet as to when the jailbreaking tool for iOS 9.2 will be available.
