Justin Lin's sci-fi film "Star Trek Beyond" trailer recently surfaced online and it taught five interesting points that the upcoming film is as dynamic as Lin's "Fast and Furious."
The recent "Star Trek: Beyond" trailer blends some features from Lin's "Fast & Furious" projects - "Fast & Furious," "Fast Five," and "Fast & Furious 6." A sequence of the film trailer saw Captain Kirk on a motorcycle and jump into a bunch of spaceships. Kirk's act just remodeled a space sci-fi version of Vin Diesel's Dominic Toretto in the sequence, according to Entertainment Weekly.
"Star Trek Beyond" will also feature a Star Fleet exploration, based on the trailer. The spacecraft approached what first looked like an asteroid belt; however, the crew was astonish when the presumed asteroid belt was actually a group of attacking alien spacecraft.
Captain Kirk and the "Star Trek" key characters - Spock Uhura, Scotty, Sulu, and McKoy - got separated from the Enterprise in one off the sequence. Without the crew, Kirk noew asks how they were going to get out of the surface of the unknown planet.
Aside from the action-packed sequences, the "Star Trek Beyond" trailer also featured an unknown character. She looked like a blend of a Sith from "Star Wars" and Nebula from the "Guardians of the Galaxy." According to Den of Geek, the charcater might be the film's big bad. Aside from her, there were other new faces in the "Star Trek Beyond" trailer.
"Star Trek Beyond" serves as the sequel to J.J. Abrams' "Star Trek Into Darkness" and acts as the thirteenth film of the "Star Trek" franchise. Along with "Star Trek Beyond" stars Chris Pine, Zoe Saldana, Sofia Boutella, Idris Elba, Simon Pegg, and Zachary Quinto, among others.
