LG G5 comes packed with an iris scanner and a 20MP camera and is also confirmed to get Android N, upon its launch.

There are rumors that LG G5 may be packed with a 5.6-inch display, 820 SoC, and have an integrated retina scanning feature. LG G5 release date is expected in April 2016.

One of the strongest rumors about the upcoming LG G5 states that the device will be equipped with a retina scanner. It will not be any ordinary retina scanner, but a pretty high end scanning add on, according to Neowin.

It is also rumored that the South Korean tech giant is keen on taking this step to get ahead of rival Apple and Samsung.

LG G5 is also rumored to be armed with a brand new technology which will be patented under LG. it is further said that this technology is not known to neither Apple nor Samsung. It is also rumored that LG is currently in talks with a company known as Irience, and wants it to come up with this technology.

LG really wants to be seen leading the race of smart devices next year, or so it seems. With finger print scanning already being one of the rumored specs of LG G5, the inclusion of retina scanning will surely take the brand value of the device up a notch.

It is speculated that LG G5 will see an increase in screen size, and might be launched at 5.6 inches. However, the phone is speculated to come with the same screen resolution, which is 2560 x 1440 pixels.

It is further speculated to be powered with a Snapdragon 820 processor, according to Digital Trends. It is expected to finally bid adieu to the plastic casing and adopt the trendy metal unibody.

LG is yet to reveal about LG G5 on its official blog, but the device does seem to be a front runner already, coming with a huge list of high end specs.
