As expected, following the launch of the latest big update for "GTA 5," game developer company Rockstar has launched an ongoing weekend event for "GTA Online."

In line with what was taking place last weekend, when gamers play any of the Adversary modes including the new Extraction mode, they are rewarded with twice as much money and RP. A player can also obtain double the cash by taking part in sea races.

With the additional cash in the gamer's virtual pocket, it is possible to get even more money. Players will also enjoy plenty of discounts from the weekend event. For instance, Body armor, vehicle armor, bulletproof tires, RPG rockets, pistol ammo, sniper rifles, and gun engravings will all be 50 percent off. Furthermore, Docktease has a 25 percent discount on all its offerings, which Rockstar asserts should make it cheaper for each of the player's new yacht from the weekend update.

Coinciding with all the discount offerings, there is a screenshot competition and a giveaway underway. Full information can be accessed on Rockstar's official website.

According to Gamespot, the "Executives and Other Criminals" update launched earlier this week on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The update adds new super yacht and allows the rickets of gamers to hire other players as bodyguards on a regular salary.

Apart from the new gaming strategies, "GTA 5 Executives and Other Criminals DLC" will come with some new toys. Gamers will lay hands on a Turreted Limo and a missile defense system on a Super Yacht. The defense system comes with its own suite of supporting vehicle upgrades including the new SuperVolito Carbon helicopter and personal watercraft.

However, it is important to note that the vehicle variants do not come cheaply. Fortunately, there are ways of raking in some money ahead of the mega DLC.

The weekend event is ongoing and will run through Dec. 20, Sunday. Watch the footage below for the Executives and Other Criminals update.
