Android 6.0, 6.0.1 Marshmallow Release News For Sony Xperia Z3 Compact, Z3, Z5, Z4 Tablet, Z5 Premium And Z5 Compact With US Carriers

At present, the Android Marshmallow update is running on a few Nexus devices and other limited devices.  Given below is the Android 6.0 and 6.0.1 Marshmallow release news for Sony Xperia Z3 Compact, Z3, Z5, Z4 Tablet, Z5 Premium and Z5 Compact with US carriers such as Sprint, Verizon and T-Mobile.

According to Know Your Mobile, about 10,000 Z3 Compact and Z3 users can upgrade to Android M by getting engaged in the firm's test program, Concept For Android. Owners have to sign-up through the official application. However, selected people will be in Europe, where the testing will be taking place.

Also, according to reports, the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update has been released for the Xperia  Z3 Compact and Z3 handsets that run the Concept for Android beta trial.

Xperia C4, Xperia M4 Aqua, Xperia C5 Ultra, Xperia M5, Xperia Z2 Tablet, Xperia Z2, Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, Xperia Z3 Compact, Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3+, Xperia Z5 Premium, Xperia Z4 Tablet, Xperia Z5 Compact and Xperia Z5 are the devices that will get the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update, Pocket-Lint reported.

According to reports, the rollout for the Z5 Series may come later rather than sooner. Sony Xperia Z5 will get the Android 6.0 M update in January that includes the Z5 Premium, Z5 Compact and Z5. After that, the Z4 will get the update.

The unlocked variants of Z5 smartphones will get the Android Marshmallow update first. However, all carriers do not allow the release of a software update for a specific device during the same period.

One carrier may release the Android Marshmallow update in a particular month and the other carriers may roll out the update later. Hence, some Xperia Z5 users may get the Android Marshmallow update much later.
