For the very first time, writer Luoluo has ventured into the world of filmmaking after she announced over the social media her plan to direct "Queen Stain."

Excited about her new career as a director, Luoluo revealed that her first movie would feature renowned Taiwanese actor Eddie Peng, also known as Peng Yuyan, as well as actress Shu Qi, or Hsu Chi to her family.

"I must say this out loud after having been through all the difficulties and hardships. I've got this opportunity as well as help from many people. I don't care about all the hardships. I only want a good result! Come on!" the Chinese author-turned-film-director posted Thursday evening over her personal account in China's Twitter-like microblogging platform, Sina Weibo.

The plot of the film "Queen Stain," which was adapted from a novel of the same name, would be showcasing the realities and hardships that "Sheng nu" are currently struggling with.

According to the Women's Federation, the "Sheng nu," or the so-called "leftover" women, are those over the age of 27 who had failed to be married.

Luoluo, originally known as Zhao Jiarong, is a popular writer in China best known for her novels for young adults.

Her new chosen path had fellow writers and novelists such as Shanghai's Would Cultural Development Co. Ltd. CEO Guo Jingming all fired up.

"Director Luoluo, this time you write and direct your own movie, and have such excellent actor and actress. I'm proud of you!" he wrote on his Sina Weibo account in response to her exciting news, describing his excitement further by comparing it to what he would feel if he were "marrying off" his own daughter.
