While announcing the 2015 Oscar nominees, Academy Awards President Cheryl Boone Isaacs was attempting to say Dick Pope to announce the nominees for Best Cinematography but instead said "Dick Poop."

Pope is the cinematographer of the British biopic "Mr. Turner," which was written and directed by Mike Leigh.

During the 2014 Oscars telecast, "American Crime Story" actor John Travolta introduced "Let It Go" singer Idina Menzel as Adele Gazeem. Unlike Isaacs, Travolta at least mentioned a first name of a real Oscar award-winning songstress.

In 2013, "Someone Like You" hitmaker Adele won Best Original Song for the song "Skyfall," which she shared with Paul Epworth.

In 2014, Adele's label XL denied that rumors that her third album would be released soon. Instead, the label said they "will continue to achieve success with other artists," referring to "Blank Space" hit maker Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj, Kendrick Lamar, Pink Floyd and Foo Fighters, RollingStone has learned.

Also, Adele was reportedly pursuing clean living in 2014. The 26-year-old "Rolling In The Deep" hit maker has given up smoking and she is currently working out with a personal trainer and enjoying pilates, sources told Daily Mail.

Aside from her award-winning and multi-platinum albums, Adele is also known for her rare public appearance. In October 2014, she was spotted at Hackney Empire in London watching a performance by FKA Twigs. She was seen in a warm oversized black coat and bright Burberry scarf. Although she seemed to have wrapped herself, she appears to have a slimmer face than the last time she was seen in public.
