Madonna is having a problem with her child. However, it is not art problem since it does not refer to expensive paintings or statues of the Virgin Mary and the infant Jesus - the center now of Christmas celebrations around the world.

It refers to "Like A Virgin" singer Madonna whose 15-year-old-son Rocco left her to spend Christmas with his father, Guy Ritchie, in London. Rocco made the move as a form of rebellion because he is "sick of touring" with his famous mother, reports Pagesix.

Following his departure for Britain, Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Deborah Kaplan ordered Rocco to return to the U.S. However, the teen's lawyer said that Rocco would not follow Kaplan's decision. "He has expressed very clearly that he does not want to return to New York," says Eric Buckley, Rocco's lawyer.

In August, the "Material Girl" singer announced that Rocco would join him in her Rebel Heart tour for two months. Pagesix cites its source who says the two do not get along well which is expected in a mother-teenage son relationship.

Madonna, who has filed a similar lawsuit in UK to bring back the "rebel heart" of her son, admits that Rocco is not interested in performing on stage with her and probably wants to work behind the scenes.

She insists that the custody case should be heard in New York because she resides in the Big Apple and her divorce agreement with Ritchie was registered in the city in 2009, although they initially divorced in London a year earlier. Kaplan told Madonna to settle the dispute with her former husband before she returns to the court.

Her other son, David Banda, sang "Imagine" and other songs for peace with the 57-year-old celebrity on Dec. 9 in her tribute to the Paris attacks as part of the UK leg of the Rebel Heart tour held at the AccorHotels Arena, reports Daily Mail. Nine-year-old David is a Malawian adopted by Madonna.
