According to reports from KpopStarz, speculations are high about the much hyped "Attack on Titan" animation series coming to an end, with season 2 due to be released sometime in the middle of 2016.
According to Tetsuro Araki, the series director, season 2 of the series is only 60 percent complete, and is awaiting for 2 more episodes from manga counterpart to be completed. "Attack on Titan" season 1 that was released in 2013 has been a dream come true for fans who are eagerly awaiting the release of the season 2.
Speculations of the series ending with season 2 is high, with Christian Today reporting that the story is coming to an end. From an interview given by series director Kawakubo Shintaro to the Japanese Antenna Magazine, it was revealed that it will take three years to complete the chapters of "Shingeki no Kyojin".
Although confirmation is awaited, going by reports from Latin Times, it is anticipated that once the remaining chapters are completed, the adaptation of anime series will also be completed. Fans, who have been eagerly waiting for the season 2 of "Attack on Titan" which is set to focus on the Trainees Squad 104 will feel sad on the series coming to an abrupt end, as reported by Crossmap.
It is reported that the fans will be entertained to a new type of titans, resembling the humans and having the abilities of talking, and equipped with human type intelligence. The next story is going to be an intensifying one, for which fans have to wait till next year.
