The much awaited DC Extended Universe film, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," ticket pre-order has commenced in Germany although the screening is not ready until March 26, 2016 in the region.

Besides the pre-order, the likely movie duration was unofficially revealed. A German-based site has listed that "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will run for 151 minutes, according to DC Comics Movie. The run time is eight minutes longer than the previous "Superman: Man of Steel," which had 143 minutes run time.

If the run time duration is true, it is not surprising.

According to Ecumenical News, the second installment in the DCEU will introduce many new characters including Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg), "Game of Throne" star Jason Momoa playing Aquaman, the infamous villain Doomsday, and General Zod (Michael Shannon). The inclusion of many new characters could be the rationale behind the upcoming film running more than "Man of Steel," which premiered Dec. 14, 2013.

On the contrary, since there is yet official word from DC or Warner Bros. concerning the exact run time for the movie, it is highly advisable for avid fans to hang on the current listing with a spark of salt for now, and at the same time consider it as a mere speculation until proven otherwise.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will debut on March 25, 2016, whereas the standalone premiere of "Wonder Woman" and "Aquaman" will hit the theaters on June 23, 2017 and July 27, 2018 respectively.
