"GTA 5" game developer Rockstar Games has updated "GTA Online" with a Festive Surprise 2015 content inclusion, which introduces a new competitive mode Beast vs. Slasher to Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
In the new mode, a group of beasts faces the challenge of running away from slashers in hot pursuit. Developers of the game have helped the beasts by giving them faster movement speed, the capability to jump buildings, and can shortly go invisible, according to Dual Shockers.
On the other hand, the Slashers have three sub-groups: Demolition, Heavy, and Assault. Each of the three groups comes with weapons like RPGs, Miniguns, and Rail Guns. The mode supports 4 to 10 gamers.
Each gamer will as well get a Fireworks Launcher with five rockets, and lay hands on a Declasse Tampa car on Xbox One, PC, and PS4.
As previously reported, YouTuber MrBossFTW aka Ross unveiled new information concerning the upcoming Christmas DLC called Festive Surprise 3.0 update for "GTA Online." Ross pointed out that the latest leak shows the possible release date for the Christmas DLC with new game content including further details on the Declasse Tampa.
According to Yahoo, the first part of the leak emerges from Rockstar's recent announcement of Newswire and it appears the game developer has inadvertently revealed important information on the impending update with the announcement of Festive Surprise Snapmatic photo competition. The game maker did similar things in the past just before any major DLC release, during the festive season.
Ross pointed out that the company had inadvertently posted terms and conditions for the new GTA 5 Snapmatic photo contest for the Festive Surprise 2015 on its Social Club page. Seemingly, Rockstar has realized its mistake and removed the post from the site.
The post teased on participation, event period, assessment, collection, and information use in addition to the releases. The most significant piece of information in the post is about the actual event time and duration, whereby it commenced at 12:01 AM ET on Dec. 21 2015 and runs through Jan. 5, 2016 at 11:59 PM ET.
