"Supergirl" season 1 recently saw Cat (Calista Flockhart) finding out Kara's (Melissa Benoist) true identity as Supergirl.
In the midseason finale episode, Cat asked Kara to remove her eyeglasses because she realized that she looked exactly like the female superhero.
At first, Kara didn't want to oblige, but she realized that she was already pushed against the wall and without any other choice.
After Kara removed her eyeglasses, Cat spoke of her realizations as calmly as possible.
Now, fans couldn't help but wonder whether or not Cat will expose the protagonist's true identity during the second half of season 1.
There's a possibility that Cat will keep mum about Kara's true identity, but it's also possible that when she has her hysterical moments that she will blurt this information out.
Additionally, Kara and Cat have a weird kind of relationship wherein fans would feel how much they support each other at one point, and how much they hate each other the next.
According to Design N Trend, "The CEO of CatCo Worldwide Media has been fascinated about Supergirl since Kara decided to be National City's very own superhero. But now that she already knew that Supergirl and her secretary are one, would she reveal Kara's real identity to the public?"
In other news, "Supergirl" season 1 will also introduce Cat's eldest son Adam Foster. The role was given to Benoist's real-life husband Blake Jenner, and he's set to appear and have a feud with his mom Cat.
"Supergirl" season 1episode 9 will premiere on CBS on Jan. 4, 2016 at 8 p.m. ET.
