"Metal Gear Online," the multiplayer mode of "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" will be getting a new DLC. Konami made the announcement through Twitter where the game developer posted that more Survival mode and maps, which have been featured in the older versions, are soon coming to "Metal Gear Solid V."
A "Metal Gear Online" update 1.02 has been provided by Konami and it will make it easier for the players to level and change the weapon values. In this update, the knockback range of the lethal shotgun will be increased. In addition, the draw speed was also lowered for the machine guns as well as the SERVAL AMR-7 gun. Some adjustments have also been made to the game's Stun Grenade.
According to Konami, version 1.01 will make the players become blinded for a short period because of the flash, even if they are not in front of the point of the explosion. But in version 1.02, the explosion will never affect them if they face away from it. Konami also added that a future update for "Metal Gear Online" is going to modify the character revive system. The developer stated that in the past MGO titles, it didn't take much effort to wake up the sleeping allies, but based on the players' feedback, they are now thinking of requiring much effort in waking the allies up to have more risks to revive their friends. The complete "Metal Gear Online" 1.02 patch notes can be seen in the Konami website.
"Metal Gear Online" t-shirt is being considered by Konami to be introduced to the game by means of another update, GameSpot reports.
