Caitlyn Jenner is off the hook after she settled with one of the individuals who was also involved in the fatal car crash last year. Jessica Steindorff's lawsuit against the reality star has been dismissed after she agreed to settlement for an undisclosed amount.

In February 2014, Jenner was traversing the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu when she rear-ended a white Lexus being driven by Kim Howe, 69. The impact threw Howe's car across the path of an oncoming Hummer and they collided, leaving the car badly wrecked and its driver dead.

Police investigators said that Howe hit her brakes when the Prius in front of her, which was driven by Steindorff, suddenly stopped. In turn, Jenner who was behind Howe did not noticed and eventually slammed her Cadillac Escalade at the Lexus.

Steindorff sued the #KUWTK star for personal injury and damage to property. She claims that she went through a difficult time after losing her capacity to earn. On top of this, she wants compensation for hospital bills and other medical expenses.

In the end, based on court documents that was obtained by People, rather than pursuing the case further, Stendorff chose to end the litigation by settling for an unknown terms and amount. Court records in Los Angeles shows that the case filed by Jessica is now closed.

The lawyers of both parties are not available for comments since they are not returning calls from the media. Nevertheless, sources revealed that Caitlyn does not need to pay the plaintiff using her own money because the insurance company will pay it for her, TMZ reported.

With one lawsuit down, Jenner still has to deal with two more cases related to the February crash. Howe's stepchildren are said to be making their move to sue the former Olympic gold medalist while the Hummer's driver and passengers are filing a complaint, as well.
