‘Elder Scrolls 6’ Update: ‘ES6’ Won’t be Releasing Anytime Soon; Might be a Follow-up to ‘Skyrim’; Will be Known as ‘Skyrim 2’?

Fans of "The Elder Scrolls" might have to wait longer for "ES6" because rumors hint that the much-anticipated game won't be releasing any time soon.

The "Elder Scrolls" games, which is an action role-playing fantasy games developed by Bethesda Game Studios, have provided a fantastic gaming experience to the gamers, and it is not surprising that all the series of this game have won "Game of the Year" awards.

Fans of "The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim," who are waiting for the next game in the series "The Elder Scrolls 6," might have to wait longer because rumors hint that the much-anticipated game won't be releasing any time soon and it could be a direct follow-up to "Skyrim."

"The Elder Scroll 6" was awaited eagerly by game enthusiasts though there were no official announcements about the releasing of the said "Elder Scrolls 5" sequel. Rumors report that the game is under development and might not be released until 2019 because of Bethesda's focus on the recently launched "Fallout 4" and "The Elder Scrolls Online."

Meanwhile, rumors suggest that since it is a "Skyrim" follow up, the game will be titled as "Skyrim 2" and not "The Elder Scrolls 6" or "The Elder Scrolls 6: Argonia."

The plot of "Skyrim 2" might be a continued story after the defeat of Alduin, the main antagonist in "The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim." The overall plot and characters might be the same, but most probably will place in a new setting.

All releases of Bethesda were successful, and with lots of scope and time for creations, planning and implementations in the new game, fans can expect an interesting and thrilling game like all the previous releases. Though it will be a long wait, whatever does come out will definitely be worth waiting for.
