Microsoft and Sony have been going head-to-head in video game console wars, and the competition for engaging games have been intense in 2015. Both console makers have started 2016 with hype about why their console, Microsoft Xbox One and titles are better than those of Sony's PS4.
Microsoft with CEO Satya Nadella at the helm replacing Steve Ballmer, the Redmond, Seattle-based firm has released a video revealing titles for Xbox One to be released later this year.
President of Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios Shuhei Yoshida said in a statement, there will be a huge rush of new games coming to Sony's Playstation 4 in 2016. Additionally, the PlayStation VR headset is due to be unveiled.
Yoshida added, "It's good to have a PS4," Ubergizmo reported.
Although new games for the Xbox One and PS4 are usually not released in January, the "Assassin's Creed Chronicles: India"will unveil on January 12. The title will extend the Templar vs. Assassin's storyline.
"Gone Home," is another game that will be released on the Xbox One and PS4 after having a great run as a PC version. Adding to "Gone Home," is "The Banner Saga,"being launched on Xbox One and PS4.
The game based on the TV show, "Gemini: Heroes Reborn" assumes the role of players as Cassandra. While the game launches on PC and Xbox One on Jan, 12, it will launch on Jan. 19.
