Lindsay Lohan has arrived from her holiday vacation in French Polynesia, but aside from the tan, she unfortunately, has brought back with her a viral disease and was hospitalized in London.
The "Mean Girls" star did not look good weeks back when she was still in New York. In Beverly Hills, before her scheduled return to London, she looked fairly hale in an image posted on her personal Instagram account.
When Lohan found out that she got Chikungunya virus, she decided to continue with the planned business-related get-way, claiming that she will ever let a stupid viral disease prevent her from enjoying the holiday season.
But, things have gotten worse since the day she arrived from the trip. Lohan, according to reports, became very ill that she could not even walk.
Eventually, the pain became worse, TMZ reported, so she had herself admitted at the hospital of King Edward VII. She was able to rest in the medical facility for a couple of days due to joint pains and high fever.
On Wednesday, Lohan was discharged to do more community service works, which have occupied most of her time since she has been in England to perform in the "Speed-the-Plow" on-stage show.
An insider told the E!, "Her doctors told her that it might take six to 12 months for the virus to clear up. She is having good and bad days, but right now, she is not doing well."
Dina Lohan, the 28-year-old startlet's mother, also, is rumored to be travelling to London to assist her daughter on her way to recovery.
