"The Vampire Diaries" alum Nina Dobrev has once again slammed rumors that she is returning to the hit The CW series.
In an interview with TV Line, executive producer Julie Plec hinted on the possibility of Dobrev returning for the show's finale.
However, according to the exec, Dobrev will definitely not be back at the end of season 7.
"There is still a chapter of Elena's story left to be told. I'll take Dobrev for whatever she's willing to do to tell that story," she said.
Meanwhile, according to the Daily Mail, Dobrev couldn't less about such rumors as she head to the beach over the weekend.
The 27-year-old beauty was recently spotted vacationing in Maui with her friends, namely, Jessica Szohr and Jessica Stam.
Photos of the trio enjoying their time at the beautiful island were also leaked online.
Following their beach escapade, Dobrev, Szohr and Stam also enjoyed some time swimming and relaxing by the pool.
On her Instagram account, the actress, who played the role of Elena Gilbert on "The Vampire Diaries" wrote, "I never want to leave. These girls or this hotel."
A follow up post showed Dobrev with her friends enjoying their meal in Maui.
"This group of sexy Hawaiian mamas are so strong, intelligent, feisty, beautiful, clumsy, unapologetically funny, filter-less, carefree, spontaneous and downright fabulous. Finding a group of women who support you, love you, take care of you, listen to you and who will be there for you no matter what..." she wrote.
Unfortunately, Dobrev didn't stay in Maui with her boyfriend Austin Stowell.
The couple celebrated the holidays together in Hawaii where they enjoyed some activities like sky diving.
In other news, Dobrev reportedly left "The Vampire Diaries" after six seasons to pursue different things such as new TV shows and movies.
Following her exit, fans were devastated to find out that Dobrev will most likely never return to the series.
However, when the show aired its first few episodes for season 7, fans also realized that Dobrev's Elena isn't really the show's main focus.
Now, "The Vampire Diaries" season 7 is more about the Salvatore brothers.
