The Atlanta Hawks may be on the verge of a major shake-up and the Cleveland Cavaliers want to cash in.

According to ESPN, the Hawks may be ready to blow up their core. While they are not necessarily "shopping" their players, they are willing to entertain possible offers. The exact term was that the Hawks are "engaged in serious internal discussions ahead of the Feb. 18 trade deadline about the future direction of their team and their core players."

Among the players involved are Al Horford, Kyle Korver and Jeff Teague. Horford will end his contract at the end of the season and will become a free agent and that may affect his trade value. However, the team that trades for him will have his "Bird Rights." Korver and Teague are still under contract and for the Korver, there is already one reported suitor.

According to Cleveland Cavaliers team site Fear The Sword, there were reports that LeBron's crew are chasing the former top three point shooter in the league. They quote ESPN's Brian Windhorst on his Twitter account stating: "I have heard the #Cavs have had interest in Kyle Korver as well. Hawks could be selling off pieces."

While the need for more shooting seems obvious, Fear The Sword does not seem favorable to the trade. They claim that the news "seems like the most out of left field."  They don't think that it might actually happen because the Cavs already acquired shooters like JR Smith and Iman Shumpert from the New York Knicks.

Furthermore they note that "Korver is coming off of the best season in his career, and the Hawks would really have to be blowing things up to consider moving him." FTS is doubtful on whether the Cavs have the movable assets to pry him away from the Hawks as the latter would still want some real assets in return for their prized shooter.

Korver is also 34 years old and would not be very beneficial for the Cavs in the long term, which means all their moves before the deadline is focused on this season's title chase.
