Recently declared for "Quantum Break" for PC, which will be out on the same day as the game's Xbox One version, are comments from Microsoft Aaron Greenberg.
As stated by Greenberg, there was not really a plan to launch the game for Xbox One and PC, but something came up to alter the strategy. As a matter of fact, it wasn't hard to bring the game to PC in such short notice.
Microsoft was not sure how and when they can bring the game to Windows 10 version. In a reaction on Twitter from many gamers, they lined up for the Xbox One version, and were happy that they had it for the game. Many fans are asking why it was not available long before, as this could have been done if it were available soon.
"Quantum Break" will be made available on the Windows 10 Store, as confirmed by Greenberg; however, no Steam release is available for PC. He also explained that the new platform will have difficulty when added to the mid-development of the game.
To be completely honest, he says that they have started "Quantum Break," "Crackdown" or "Scalebound" long before they planned to expand it into Windows, especially that he is the head of the Xbox team. They wanted to add a new platform, and thought it was necessarily the best way to get a good result of the game.
The games showed a path that may direct to Windows, but right now, they are on the path to finish the games that have been started. "Halo Wars 2" had a chance, just by mere sitting down on the studio, and went on saying, "Here's the target and what we're going to do."
"Quantum Break" is publicized by Microsoft Game Studios and developed by Remedy Interactive, which will be provisionally launched on April 5, 2016 for Xbox One and PC.
