Exactly three weeks after Kanye West and Paul McCartney released their collaboration entitled "Only One," they now have the "FourFiveSeconds," a link up with Rihanna.
"I think I have had enough," the lyrics of the song goes through the acoustic, percussion-less track. Rihanna goes along with, "I could get drunk, while saying what's inside my mind. I may get by with a little time, since my kindness has been taken as a weakness."
Rihanna and West handled all of the vocals of the song, duetting during the chorus while McCartney provided the song's keyboards.
Two days after the release of "Only One", the rapper Dolla $ign ignited anticipation for this track, saying to the Rolling Stone that the song, which at the time was still unnamed, will be released soon.
It is still unclear if this track is to appear on the albums of all three artists, but Ty Dolla $ign revealed to Billboard early this month that "FourFiveSeconds" is more likely to be included in Kanye West's to be released album.
Meanwhile, West fans should not be too surprised that McCartney is in his tracks. When their "Only One" was officially released, the rapper's spokesperson said, "the song is only their first publicly available track from what has turned into a magnificent musical collation between two legendary artists."
West and McCartney began working together on the "Only One" in the first quarter of last year. It started with only a simple session of brainstorming, with Kanye shaping ideas and vocally preparing while McCartney is improvising the keyboards.
