Speculations are rife that Zoe Barnes' ghost may haunt Frank Underwood in the upcoming "House of Cards" Season 4.
The first teaser preview of the popular political drama series "House of Cards" was recently released. Also, there are very mysterious images in the trailer, which suggest that the past may catch up with the President at last. Underwood had murdered Barnes to silence her, when she wanted to expose him and derail his bid for the White House.
The trailer also gives a glimpse of Peter Russo, who had also been murdered by Underwood. Fans are anxious as to why is he being shown in the trailer. His glimpse gives rise to the hope that someone may finally spill the beans that the President that murdered him.
The teaser was full of dramatic previews on a background of percussive war drums. In "House of Cards" Season 3, the marriage between the President and the First Lady had hit rock bottom. With Claire Underwood walking out on the husband, he was left bewildered and angry as the season ended, according to Entertainment Weekly. The upcoming season looks like a spousal Civil War is about to happen.
The trailer for the upcoming season is not less than a mystery, even to the loyal viewers. According to The Observer, it left many people puzzled about what is going to happen in the upcoming season.
A few such instances are presented here:
1) It is seen in the trailer that the First Lady walks into a room when the President was not expecting her and he looks at her distrustfully. However, he does not speak to her at all. Then suddenly it is seen that the President is being hit and she is just sitting there and watching calmly. This image gives rise to the question whether it is the First Lady who is hitting the President? Or there is some other political diplomat?
2) Another instance is the glimpse of the Russian President who is seen up and close with the First Lady. As, she literally loathes him, then how are they together now? Are they plotting against the President? Or is she up to something else completely?
Also, there will be many new faces in the show, including Colm Feore of "Thor" fame. Paul Sparks of "Fear The Walking Dead" and Kim Dickens from "Sherlock" are also expected to star in the upcoming season of "House of Cards."
The season will premiere on March 4 on Netflix.
