Corey Taylor has been vocal about his admiration for Eminem recently. The frontman of the heavy metal bands Slipknot and Stone Sour said he is very interested in collaborating with the "Rap God" rapper.

"He's phenomenal," Taylor said of Eminem in an interview with EMP Rock Invasion, as cited by Blabbermouth. "He's a great artist, a great rapper, a great producer, a great writer. I mean, he's amazing. I love him."

Taylor said he would love to do something in "that world" that is with people who he looks up to. He believes that if he had the chance to work with Eminem, he could "really trade some cool stuff back and forth."

For Taylor, it would be "really cool" to do something with Dr. Dre, whom he has so much respect for. The Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman is a big fan of "Straight Outta Compton," which starred Corey Hawkins as Dr. Dre, O'Shea Jackson, Jr. as Ice Cube and Jason Mitchell as Eazy-E.

According to Taylor, "Straight Outta Compton" deserved all the accolades that it received. He said the biographical drama film did not hold anything back and it exceeded his expectations.

It turns out that the "Rap God" rapper is not the only artist Taylor wants to work with. He said would love to work with Dr. Dre, Ice Cube and Jay-Z, who are among the artists he looks up to.

Moreover, Taylor would love to work with Trent Reznor of the industrial rock project Nine Inch Nails and do something "really, really gnarly" with him. For the heavy metal musician, the singer-songwriter and film score composer is "just a genius."

In another interview with The Guardian, Taylor talked about his plans for 2016. He said he is set to tour with Slipknot until November and he will be writing with Sone Sour in between tours.

The heavy metal musician is also set to release a book, which will deal with several topics including politics and social commentary and is tentatively titled "America 51." Watch his interview with EMP Rock Invasion here:
