"The Flash" season 2 will go on a long hiatus, and is expected to return with a new episode on Mar. 22.
Entertainment Weekly wondered how come the show will go on another break when the second half of the season just started.
Unfortunately, "The Flash" lead star Grant Gustin couldn't give fans any answer why this was so.
What he only knows is that when the show returns, fans can expect a very fun and informative episode focused on his character Barry Allen/The Flash and Zoom.
According to Gustin, Barry will not handle the truth about Zoom being Hunter Zolomon very well because he will feel that he is being betrayed.
Barry will also be disappointed in himself "because it's almost like he's been through this before, and he can't believe he let himself go through it again," he said.
Meanwhile, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg also spoke with the same publication during a separate interview about Zoom being Hunter Zolomon a.k.a. Jay Garrick.
"How all of that plays out and what's actually happening, we'll leave for after the break. But we wanted to go out on this run of episodes with a big reveal, just the same way we did at the end of episode 9 in season 1, where we revealed that Harrison Wells was the man in the yellow suit. Zoom's identity is finally revealed," he said.
He continued, "It's an even bigger betrayal than last year in some ways, because they're all going to feel like they should've been inoculated against it. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."
In other news, Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) will definitely feel betrayed.
"They let this person in. Part of the reason he was able to do that was because there was a hole in the center of their group, and he knew that. He was able to step in because they wanted it so desperately. Barry was missing his mentor, Wells, and here comes Jay offering to be his mentor. Caitlin had lost Ronnie, and then here comes Jay offering to be her new knight in shining armor," he said.
"The Flash" season 2 airs Tuesdays on The CW.
