New details for the live-action "Justice League" movie will feature costumes for Aquaman and The Flash, film production schedule and a possible appearance of Nightwing.
Before "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" hit cinemas on next month, director Zack Snyder gave DC comic book fans a treat when he tweeted a photo in his Twitter page along with "Game of Thrones" actor Jason Momoa behind-the-scenes and the image contains the costumes of Arthur Curry/Aquaman (Momoa), Barry Allen/The Flash (Ezra Miller) and Bruce Wayne/Batman (Ben Affleck).
Both Aquaman and The Flash are rumored to appear in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" along with Victor Stone/Cyborg (Ray Fisher) as Snyder stated during an interview that these three DC characters will have a minor role during the events of the film.
There are already speculations that The Flash will appear in a footage from LexCorp's CCTV footage stopping a robbery, while Aquaman being a captive in a containment chamber as Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) oversees his activities, hinting a connection with the "Suicide Squad".
Cyborg's appearance has not been explained and another speculation that Hal Jordan/Green Lantern (Dan Amboyer) could also appear in "Batman V Superman", thus completing the Justice League.
Snyder's photo also hinted that Aquaman's wife Queen Mera will be appearing in the "Justice League" movie played by "The Danish Girl" actress Amber Heard. There is also a black armored costume in the background as fans speculated that this could be Dick Grayson's Nightwing costume, Cinemablend reported. Nightwing is rumored to appear in the new solo Batman film for the DC Extended Universe starring Ben Affleck.
In other news, Warner Bros. announced that part 1 of the "Justice League" live-action movie will start production on April 11 in England and Iceland, a little over two weeks after "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice", Entertainment Weekly reported.
Snyder stated that it was an "about time" moment for him and Warner Bros. to begin shooting "Justice League" since it has been a long time coming. He added that the concept for the live-action version of the DC superhero group was "cool" and establish a world that they can exist.
The shooting locations for "Justice League" part 1 could be set up in Warner Bros. Leavesden Studios in southeast London, England and parts of Iceland. Snyder will helm both "Justice League" part 1 and part 2 and they will not shoot back-to-back.
"Justice League" movie part 1 is scheduled on Nov. 17, 2017, while part 2 is on June 14, 2019.
