According to the latest leaks by a United Kingdom games magazine, first-person shooter video game "Call of Duty: Ghosts" is about to get a sequel soon.
A rumor from U.K.'s Games TM magazine, as cited by Fraghero, indicated that "Call of duty: Ghosts 2" is on its way. The leak which was actually a photo is believed to have been sent by Mari Fernett, a games enthusiast who had gotten hold of the magazine.
The picture exhibited a small blurb regarding the game alongside a picture from the "Ghosts" game. It also showed a possible release date of the game in November which amazingly goes in line with the launch of former "Call of duty" titles.
Fernett further revealed that the magazine was part of the February issue under the "2016 Most Wanted Games" feature. The author of the particular article in the publication pointed out that "Call of Duty: Ghosts 2" was one of the most awaited games in 2016. Besides these, the magazine article also suggested that "Ghosts" and "Modern Warfare" game developer (Infinity Ward) should step up its game to compete with other games.
Meanwhile, other reports reveal that Infinity Ward has been busy working on a COD 2016 project and so it might be early to rule out the possibility of the "Call of Duty: Ghosts 2" in the upcoming titles this year. However, the information about the November release is not officially confirmed and must be taken with a grain of salt.
According to Movie Pilot, the previous "Call of Duty: Ghosts" title was not well received by fans of the game due to some several hitches and this may be the reason why Activision unveiled the "Black Ops III multiplayer Starter pack," a much cheaper edition of the game. Owing to this, fans have been caught unawares by the "Call of Duty: Ghosts 2" title.
If a "Call of Duty: Ghosts 2" title is surely on the way, then fans desire to see improvement on the previous problematic features in "Call of Duty: Ghosts" like a poor hit detection system, big complex maps and a kill-streak-catered game style.
