Sean Murray, creator of No Man's Sky, wants people to know that his galaxy simulator is not just an ambitious idea that's impressed everyone at the Electronic Entertainment Expo. It is in fact a video game.

Murray said that he thinks people truly like the idea; however, it is extremely important for him to deliver on that.

No Man's Sky transports players to a fictional science-fiction galaxy populated by countless number of planets that are generated by a PC or PS 4 using mathematical rules developed by the creator.

Murray said that when they set out to make No Man's Sky, they wanted players to have this emotion, like they are landing on a planet and feeling like no body has ever been there before. Murray also disclosed that a few planets are inhabited by Non-Player-Character aliens.

There are a number of different alien races in No Man's Sky, according to a report from CNET. They have their own lore. Some of them have a scientific slant or a military slant. The more players interact with them, the higher their ranking with each alien race is. The higher a player's ranking, the more options are available.

When players meet an alien, they will be allowed to interact. They may know some of the language, or they may not depending on how much exploration they have done of the surrounding world of the alien. Players can try and decipher the language, or they can guess what to say. If they guess correctly, perhaps they get something awesome.

Also, gamers can record lifeforms of a planet and upload them to earn the currency. Players can also shoot them with a laser gun. Murray said that gamers can be a good citizen of the universe or they can be a space jerk.

Furthermore, there is an intergalactic force known as Sentinels who will hunt down gamers who cause too much trouble, such as killing too many dinosaur-like creatures or breaking into alien factories to steal blueprints.
