New details for "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 3 will feature new possible members of the "Secret Warriors", a new clip featuring Slingshot and Marvel show renewed for season 4.
The hit Marvel TV series will make its return this week as S.H.I.E.L.D. director Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) and his team will battling the threat of HYDRA and containing the rising Inhuman problem. The second haft of the show will also see the Marvel Cinematic Universes version of the Secret Warriors as Daisy Johnson/Quake (Chloe Bennet) will leading this team along with Inhuman members Lincoln Campbell/ Sparkplug (Luke Mitchell), Joey Gutierrez (Juan Pablo Raba) and Mack Mackenzie (Henry Simmons).
A new trailer clip for return episode of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 3 titled "Bouncing Back" will feature Mack Mackenzie, Bobbi Morse (Adrienne Palicki) and Lance Hunter (Nick Blood) investigating another Inhuman in Columbia. The team splits up as Mack looks for clues, but then he sees a suspicious woman who happens to be Elena Rodriguez/Slingshot (Natalia Cordova-Buckley). Elena uses her Inhuman powers of super speed to quickly get Mack's gun and aims it right at him.
Aside from the new episode trailer, more Marvel characters are rumored to join the Secret Warriors' program in season 3 as comic book fans requested that Manifold, Hellfire, Phobos, Gorgon and Contessa Valentina Allegra de la Fontaine should added to "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D", Comic Book Resources reported.
So far, Slingshot is the only character depicted to be a future member of the team, joining other members Sparkplug and Joey Guiterrez, while other possible recruits like Mike Peterson/Deathlok (J. August Richards), Sebastian Druid and Stonewall are being tease to join soon.
In other news, ABC announced that "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." will be renewed for season 4 alongside other TV series such as "Quantico", "Grey’s Anatomy", "Scandal", "How To Get Away with Murder", Once Upon a Time" and many more.
The announcement was made when by ABC as part of their broader sweep announcements as other shows like "Castle", "Last Man Standing", "Dr. Ken Nashville" and "The Muppets" are still getting a pickup from the network, Screenrant reported.
TV series star Clark Gregg teased that the events from the second haft of season 3 will likely connect with "Captain America: Civil War" as the film slowly approuches its release date soon.
"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 3 will return on March 8 on ABC.
