The latest details for the "Spider-Man" 2017 film will feature the possible inclusion of J. Jonah Jameson in the film, early praise for the web-slinger in "Captain America: Civil War" and a new practice video.

Several comic book fans have petitioned to Marvel Studios to bring Oscar-winning actor J.K. Simmons to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the vigilante-hating newspaper editor J. Jonah Jameson. Simmons portrayal of J. Jonah Jameson was first scene in Sam Raimi's version of "Spider-Man" and hehas been an iconic character in the first Spidey trilogy ever since.

Simmons stated in an interview he is opened to reprise the role of J. Jonah Jameson in the new "Spider-Man" 2017 movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, the "Whiplash" star gave petitioners a "reality check" of his own by saying that petition does not come from anybody that is in a position to actually do anything about it, IGN reported.

It still good to know that Simmons is still open with the idea of getting J. Jonah Jameson back in MCU as he stated that "he will never close the door on anything"

Meanwhile, it seems that someone gave already a good review for the web-slinger's appearance in "Captain America: Civil War".

According to Birth.Movies.Death writer David Faraci, Marvel begun viewing the unfinished version fo the film and commented that Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland) portrayal in "Civil War" is something "great", and did not waste time retelling his origin story.

Recent reports claim that Spider-Man's appearance in the film will have him join Tony Stark/Iron Man's (Robert Downey Jr.) team against Steve Rogers/Captain America's (Chris Evans) rogue Avengers. Several theories revealed that Tony will provide Peter his costume and web shooters, trying to gain his allegiance as Peter will have somewhat of a unique relationship with the Iron Avenger.

Lastly,Tom Holland posted a new stunt video on his Instagram account showcasing a number of impressive flips and acrobatic technique.

Spider-Man will be making his debut in "Captain America: Civil War" on May 6 and his solo film will launch on July 7, 2017.
