The Cleveland Cavaliers are the most embattled Conference leaders in most years.

Most of the teams that are being criticized and accused of chemistry issues are usually below .500, but the Cavaliers are 44-18 and still at the top of the East.

One of the major issues that has hounded the Cavs is the chemistry of the three star players: James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love.

Before the trade deadline, the trade rumors were all about Kevin Love. After Coach David Blatt was fired, it seemed to have bought some time for Love and was eventually given a better role in the rotation.

Now, it's LeBron James and Kyrie Irving, as Chris Mannix of The Vertical reported.

"Irving remains a dynamic scorer, but the disconnect between Irving and James is real, several scouts and coaches told The Vertical, with the on-court chemistry between the two, said one scout who saw Cleveland play recently, 'basically nonexistent.'"

The Cavs are still way ahead of any Eastern team in terms of talent. None of their closest rivals, specifically the Toronto Raptors, made an attempt to improve at the deadline. But most observers actually believe that the Cavs are threatened, even Mannix.

As always, any issue in team chemistry will be followed by trade rumors. Sir Charles In Charge brought the discussion to that level.

"LeBron won't stand another season with Love and Kyrie if the Cavs fall short of winning the NBA Championship again," Michael Saenz of SCIC declared. "If/when the Cavs fall short of winning the 2016 Finals, there will be changes to make this summer. And, most likely, LeBron will call the shot on who that's going to be."

Kevin Love was a player that LeBron James wanted to trade for, sending out two first overall picks in the process. This is one thing that most Love trade advocates forget. Irving is the team's first overall pick after LeBron James' left. Irving was supposed to be the savior of the franchise before "the Chosen One" returned.

Are there other point guards that LeBron would rather play with than Kyrie? One of the easiest guesses would be Chris Paul, who is also James' close friend off the court. Chemistry would probably not be a problem.

There is also Eric Bledsoe, once known as LeBron Lite, who also shares the same agent with James. Those two players' respective teams would definitely consider an Irving trade, but these are all speculative at this point.
