Naruto Shippuden Episode 453 featured the third part of the Itachi Shinden arc. Entitled 'the Pain Living,' this chapter saw Itachi experienced what friendship really is for the first time and how painful to lose someone precious to him before his very eyes.
Summary:
Three years after their relocation in the outskirt of Konoha, Itachi's father, Fugako Uchiha, had not lost a bit of motivation to fight for the right as one of the noble families of the Hidden Leaf. However, Itachi optimistic view of their situation has somewhat contained his father's rebellious tendency.
In this episode, we learned that Itachi craved for dumplings. He hesitantly showed it when offered by his childhood sweetheart Izumi Uchiha as a gift for graduating early from the Academy. There in his first ever mission (to find a run-away Ninja cat), he finally understood the value of having friends around him.
Unfortunately, that feeling was only temporary as Obito reminded him about the cruel side of living by slaughtering his teammates and subsequently triggering Itachi to awaken his Sharingan.
Review: What things we learned from Episode 453
-Itachi has genuine love for his father and the people around him, but he's unaware of how to form a bond with others until his first ever mission.
-Itachi and Izumi are a cute pair as shown while eating dumpling by the lake.
-Itachi's team members are years older than him, probably of same age as Shisui.
-The Chapter once again proved that he's the architect behind the bad events that happened in the ninja world. In fact, Obito purposely attacked and killed Itachi's team to awaken his Sharingan and put more hatred in Itachi's heart.
