The "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" stars and real-life couple are doing it, once again!
Brad Pitt and wife Angelina Jolie are rumored to, once again, appear together on set for an upcoming film. Pitt is said to be in the middle of negotiations to portray the role of Richard Leakey, the famed archeologist, who became the elephants defender against Kenya's poachers in the last quarter of the 80s, The Wrap reported. Apparently, this is Jolie's upcoming drama movie "Africa".
"I have felt a rather deep connection to the continent and its culture that exudes with life," Jolie revealed in September 2014.
"Eric's beautifully-drafted scripted about a dedicated man who was drawn into the chaotic conflict between the elephant poachers who've emerged with an unfathomable understanding of a man's footprint and a concrete sense of responsibility that the world around him needs, got me," the "Salt" star added.
Eric Roth of the "Forrest Gump" wrote the biopic for "Africa", while Jolie will once again work with Roger Deakins, her "Unbroken" cinematographer. The project is expected to start filming this summer.
"Brangelina" co-starred in the phenomenal film "Mr. & Mrs. Smith", but recently joined forces for Jolie's to-be-released movie "By the Sea", which the actress philanthropist, also, wrote and directed.
Compared to "Unbroken", this movie is a lot easier to do, Jolie told Du Jour.
"The trickiest thing is to direct Brad and myself. It is a dramatic material, hard, and we are both balancing. This is a heavy film and it is not easy for the both of us. But, despite the struggle, we are together and we are here to challenge each other," she proudly added.
