Rumors are doing the rounds that the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will be powered by Intel Skylake chipset. Furthermore, it is expected that the upcoming device will release with the Windows 10 Redstone 2 operating system preinstalled.
According to reports, the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will deliver better battery performance of 7 hours.
In addition, the Surface Pen is expected to come with new improvements. Rumor has it that the Surface Pen will come with a LED light and power off/on button.
Microsoft Surface Pro 4 sports a 12.3-inch screen with 2736 x 1824 pixel resolution, according to a Digital Trends report. The Surface Pro 5, on the other hand, will feature a 13.3-inch screen. Also, the forthcoming device may carry support for 4K resolution.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is rumored to come with a USB Type-C port.

The tech giant Microsoft will let users to back up accounts, Start menu layouts and passwords in the cloud. Users can enable automatic backups, schedule backups or remove the ones they do not need any more.
Also, the software company will reintroduce the Placeholders feature in the forthcoming Windows 10 Redstone release, according to Windows Central. OneDrive in Windows 8.1 had a space-saving feature called Placeholders. The company removed Placeholders because not everybody understood how the feature worked.
With Placeholders, users would be able to access any file on their OneDrive by double-clicking an icon; however, the file itself would not really be downloaded to their PC until they opened the file.
