Although Rockstar Games has not yet announced the official release date for "GTA 6," there are already rumors that the upcoming installment will be teh biggest in the "GTA" franchise. Further rumors show that "GTA 6" will possibly be set in London.
The release date for "GTA 6" is not the only concern among fans since the plot possibilities are also being taken into consideration. The upcoming installment might be the biggest "Grand Theft Auto" yet by Rockstar Games, according to Digital Spy. The game is projected to have twice as big as the current Los Santos and Blaine County "GTA" map, or even bigger to cover the whole USA, besides allowing "teleportation," which is a strange way to refer to "Fast Travel."
"GTA 6" is rumored to have a setting outside the US, and previous reports indicated that London is the most suitable location. The game developer has not given much detail about the upcoming game, but there is confirmations of "GTA 6" having an American, English-speaking tone.
In an interview with Polygon back in 2013, "At the moment, it feels like GTA's DNA is contemporary-ish, American-ish, English-speaking-ish because that's what it has been, but that doesn't necessarily limit it to those, that's just what we've done so far."
Meanwhile, it is rumored that the game will have more flying missions, besides a wider range of weapon choices. Fans point out that Rockstar Games is interested in seeing the game release with full VR. The VR support aspect casts some doubt on the game releasing on the Xbox One, which lacks its own VR component.
More specifically, rumors indicate that "GTA 6" will take at least three more years to come out, which is a rational estimate. In addition, Rockstar is licensing Shatta Wale's song "KAKAI" in the upcoming game.
It is irrational for the game developer to license music three years ahead of the release of the game. Since they are just rumors, fans will have to wait and hear it from the horse's mouth.
