New details for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" will feature the leaked gameplay development for the "Blood and Wine" DLC, as well as clarifications on its supposed launch date.
It seems that production for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's" latest expansion, "Blood and Wine" has begun as CD Projekt RED animation technical director Piotr Tomsinski has revealed teaser videos on its development during the Game Developers Conference event, Segment Next reported.
The panel demonstrated the pipeline, tools and editor for the game as the first video shows off several clues for the "Blood and Wine" DLC, in which Geralt is talking to a few guards after killing a monster, while the second video contains several dialogues for the expansion.
Polish voice actor Jacek Rozenek posted on his Facebook account that he has begun working on the voice of Geralt in the "Blood and Wine" DLC. With that being said its seems that CD Projekt RED will likely launch new expansion very soon.
In other news, several rumors are making rouds regarding "Blood and Wine's" intended release date as Polish video game website GRYOnline claim that the DLC will launch on Aprll 26 in "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt". However, an update on the website stated it will be release sometime in June.
Since then, CD Projekt RED has chosen to keep things quiet regarding the confusion surrounding "Blood and Wine" DLC release date.
The new expansion will feature new weapons, gear, signs for Geralt and the level up requirements for "Blood and Wine" should be at level 40 and above. There will be two standard endings with one secret ending and a Bone sword for Geralt related to the Brotherhood of Wolf.
"Blood and Wine" will feature different armor color changes offered by NPCs for each setting, four new skills in Combat, Alchemy and Sign, 12 new general skills, three skill slots and one mutagen slot. A new combat animation for Geralt is introduce and a huge boss fight equivalent to the Kraken monster in "The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings".
Gamers will encounter new monsters such as Bruxas, Manticores and Stringas in the expansion as well as characters from "The Witcher" novels like the Dutchess of Touissant Anna Henriatta and the evil sorcerer Vilgefortz. Fringello Vigo will be one of Geralt's love interest in the DLC.
"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
