LG G5 smartphone has Android 6.0 Marshmallow right out of the box. According to previous reports, the electronics manufacturer LG promised that their handsets would be the first to receive the latest Marshmallow update.
Android 6.0 M has been available for the LG G4 in South Korea, according to LG Mobile. In the United States, the upgrade has come to the LG G4 on AT&T and Verizon. It means that the update is coming soon to US Cellular, T-Mobile and Sprint.
US users of these carriers should go to their 'Settings' menu and click 'System Update' to see if they can download the update now.
The mobile carrier Verizon has the Android upgrade readily available for the users of LG G3. In addition, the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update has been availed to users of LG G3 smartphone using the international and unlocked versions. At present, the update is rolling out via over-the-air to these variants.
Also, according to some reports, LG G3 units of major mobile carriers in the US must have been passed out from the Android 6.0 M update.
There is no information on when the mobile carrier Sprint will roll out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to its customers. Also, there is no information on when US Cellular and AT&T will roll out the Android 6.0 M update to their customers.
Users of LG G2 are also waiting for the latest Marshmallow update. The electronics company has not said anything about whether LG G2 owners are going to get the Android 6.0 update or not.
The Verizon version of the device was recently spotted in a benchmark and it had Android 6.0 M on it. The LG G2 smartphone was running on a custom ROM.
Users of the LG G2 smartphone do not have to worry about receiving the official Android 6.0 Marshmallow update as a stable version of the custom ROM will be coming pretty soon.
Reports also suggest that LG V10 devices in Turkey and South Korea have got the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update.
Other LG devices that will receive the Android Marshmallow update are LG G4C, LG G4 Stylo and LG G Flex 2.
