Nintendo confirmed that no DLC will be available for "Pokken Tournament," just yet.
Since its release date, gamers in all part of the globe have patiently waited for a downloadable content to be produced. However, after months of waiting, Nintendo gave a statement in Japan about a month ago that it still has not work on producing DLC for "Pokken Tournament."
Upon hearing this information, fans could not resist to shout-out their comments on the web. Some supporters of the game boldly claimed that Nintendo's refusal to release a downloadable content for "Pokken Tournament" will make the game vulnerable to lose its competitiveness in the gaming world.
The Big N is obviously preparing to enter the stiff competition within the walls of the gaming industry. It has been reported that this gaming company was highly optimistic that "Pokken Tournament" will be included in the 2016 EVO lineup. Perhaps its effort has paid off, because "Pokken" has been included in the 2016 Evolution Championship Series. EVO is a yearly gaming tournament, which has been considered as one of the biggest annual tournaments in the world. This year's EVO will be held in Las Vegas.
On the other hand, some people who have played the game were reportedly confused about the two Pikachus in different forms. Fans also said that Shadow Meowtwo and Meowtwo are quite identical.
According to Gamerant, the game's roster of 16 Pokemons is not substantially enough to keep the interest of the fans intact. That is why it may be good for the game to have a regular update through DLC in order to keep the game attractive.
Nintendo is clearly aware of this, but because the game is still performing well in terms of luring a lot of gamers to play it, then there would be little reason to provide an update. As a result, Nintendo neglects some fans' request for a downloadable content.
As of the moment, there is no news relating to "Pokken Tournament's" DLC, and it is possible that Nintendo might not even consider releasing a DLC anytime soon. Nevertheless, Big N's decision may be reversed if majority of its players gets bored playing it.
