The latest details on "Thor: Ragnarok" will feature Odin's possible role in the film and Tom Hiddleston on Loki's future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
"Crimson Peak" star Tom Hiddleston shared his thoughts on his return to "Thor: Ragnarok" during Earwolf's "Happy Sad Confused" podcast episode as he hinted that this could be the last time fans will see the God of Mischief in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Comic Book Movie reported. Hiddleston has a lot things to do this year as he is part of other movie project such as "I Saw the Light" and "Kong: Skull Island". He stated that he has not done the character of Loki for four years and he has loved working with cast of "Thor" and it will be his last time "out of the gates", hinting that Hiddleston might not reprise his role as Loki in future MCU films.
Loki (Hiddleston) is last seen in "Thor: Ragnarok" disguised as Odin Allfather (Anthony Hopkins) during the closing parts of the film as he was thought to be dead during his fight with the Dark Elves along with his brother, Thor Odinson (Chris Hemsworth).
"Thor: Ragnarok" will center on the apocalyptic event happening in Asgard as Thor must find a way to prevent it from happening. The movie will also feature Thor's fellow Avengers teammate Bruce Banner/The Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and a new villain the Goddess of death Hela (Cate Blanchett). Th film will also debut a new ally for Thor in the form of Bruhilde/Valkyrie.
In other news, a new theory on Odin's possible return to "Thor: Ragnarok" has been revealed. Ever since Loki disguised himself as his adopted father, comic book fans are wondering what has happened to him and what part he will play in the film.
It is theorized that Odin could be in a fight with Fire demon Surtur as his existence could bring about Raganrok to Asgard similar to the comics, Moviepilot reported. Could Odin's fight against Surtur could set in motion for "Thor:Ragnarok" film and will Odin die during the battle?
There are also rumors that Thanos could also have an appearance in the film as he has invaded Asgard for the purpose of obtaining the Tesseract/Space Stone to complete the Infinity Stone, setting up events for "Avengers: Infinity War".
"Thor: Ragnarok" is scheduled to be release on Nov. 3, 2017.
