Legendary rock band Bon Jovi is set to release their new album when fall of 2016 arrives. For fans who want some hint on the band's upcoming LP, band vocalist Jon Bon Jovi said it will be all about integrity.
The band has been on a roller coaster ride for the past three years. It began with the departure of lead guitarist, Richie Sambora in 2013, who is now touring on his own. Both parties were reportedly not in good terms but later, Bon Jovi and Sambora clarified that there is no bad blood going on between the two parties.
Then, it was followed by the rift between the band and their previous label, Mercury Records in 2015. Apparently, the band is not happy with the new and adjusted contract rates the recording company offered them when their previous contract was up. This urged the band to dedicate the fan album, "Burning Bridges" to the recording studio.
Moving forward, Bon Jovi is now concentrating on their new album, "This House is Not for Sale." The 54 -year-old rock icon said that this record will be all about integrity and the challenges they faced over their 30-year career.
"This record is about our integrity," said Jon Bon Jovi in an interview with star2.com. "Integrity matters and we're at a stage of our career where we don't have anything left to prove."
Also, it is speculated that this album might contain political views, since Bon Jovi has been endorsing presidential candidate Hilary Clinton. Moreover, his statement from last year's interview with People Magazine makes it more plausible as he stated that his source of inspiration is reading newspaper every day.
He also said that this album will contain more mature point of view compared to their first song, "Runaway."
"Some songs have a little more of the 'chip on my shoulder' sound which is OK for us to have right now," Bon Jovi said later in the interview. "When I wrote 'Runaway' in 1982, my viewpoint wasn't that big, but with every record and passing decade of our career, we evolve."
