The mother-daughter duo will face issues especially after Rayna finds out that Maddie is keeping a huge secret from her.

There are some rumors that Maddie could be pregnant, and Rayna wouldn't be very happy with this news.

Meanwhile, the upcoming finale episode of "Nashville" season 4 will also see Juliet (Hayden Panettiere) choosing how to publicly reckon with the truth of Jeff Fordham's death.

Scarlett (Clare Bowen) and Gunnar (Sam Palladio) will also contemplate about going their separate ways yet again.

Will (Chris Carmack) will also decide to do something that he should've done a long time ago.

As of late, the fate of "Nashville" still hasn't been decided yet by ABC.

However, there are some rumors that the once-hit series will finally be cancelled.

Earlier this year, it was confirmed that Panettiere will no return to "Nashville" season 5 because she needs to get treatment for her postpartum disorder.

"Nashville" showrunner and executive producer Dee Johnson clarified though that Panettiere's departure will only be temporary.

"It's not the entire season, it's just for now. We've had to make adjustments, but it's not uncommon for shows to have to make such accommodations when real life intervenes," she told TV Line.

"We incorporated Hayden's pregnancy into the storyline last season, but we knew Juliette will have issues with motherhoods and had always planned for her to struggle with her demons afterwards, including postpartum depression," Johnson continued.

In other news, "Nashville" season 4 will only has 21 episodes in total. Some fans believe that the series will no longer be renewed for another season.

One fan @acurat wrote, "I think Nashville is done as its finale is after the sweeps period so I believe ABC is probably writing that one off... I think we can anticipate Nashville will be one of them already."

"Nashville" season 4, episode 21 will air on May 25 on ABC.
