James Franco had not met Angelina Jolie's husband Brad Pitt until Sundance at Park City, Utah recently and apparently, a budding bromance has just been born.
"We fell in love last night, he's the coolest guy," Franco told Entertainment Tonight during an interview with the Sundance film "True Story" director Rupert Goold.
Based on the real-life memoir of Michael Finkel played by Jonah Hill, "True Story" features Franco as Christian Longo, a murderer who uses Finkel's identity to hide. Pitt served as a producer of the film slated for theatrical release on April 10.
According to Franco, Pitt "really kind of saw it through from script stage and post-production stage and was really helpful that way."
In 2014, Pitt starred in "Fury," which on its debut stole the top spot at the box office from Ben Affleck, Rosamund Pike and Neil Patrick Harris' film "Gone Girl."
Written and directed by David Ayer, "Fury" also stars Shia LaBeouf, Michael Pena, Jon Bernthal and Logan Lerman among others. It cost Sony Pictures $68 million to produce the film in cooperation with QED and LStar Capital.
During a "Between Two Ferns" interview in 2014, Zach Galifianakis said he found it weird that Pitt plays "play a lot of people that are kind of Nazi haters" because Angelina Jolie's husband looks like "Hitler's dream."
In the middle of the interview, Pitt was talking about his charity work when Louis C.K. appeared and interrupted the "Fury" actor, blocked him and made jokes about ISIS and Ebola. The interview resumed when Louis C.K. left the set.
