"Bleach" chapter 671 is set for release this Thursday as the battle against Gerard Valkyrie continues. Kenpachi has reached his limit and it looks like it will be up to Toshiro to finish off the enormous villain.
Last chapter, Kenpachi was dominating Valkyrie thanks to his newfound power, Bankai. However, he was not quite ready to use its power to its fullest potential and was rendered unable to fight. With Gerard recovering from Kenpachi's lethal blows, he sets his sight on destroying the three captains.
Just when they were about to get crushed, Toshiro unveiled his Bankai's ultimate form. In the next chapter, the full extent of its power will be revealed. Fans over at Reddit came up with speculations regarding its power.
User PokeMaster420 believes it will have four unique features. First, the ice will envelop his sword, deep freezing anything it touches. Second, Toshiro will be encased in an invisible ice armor that is below 150 degrees Celsius. Third, his sword will also have the power to summon ice warriors should he impale it to the ground. Lastly, he can make a projectile slash that would freeze its target.
Meanwhile, DamnItKubo believes Byakuya Kuchiki will make the ultimate sacrifice to give Toshiro the opening he needs. Realizing that his Royal Guard training was deemed useless after seeing Toshiro and Kenpachi surpass his power, he decides to be the ultimate hero to save his dignity as well as his sister, Rukia.
Lastly, user Spikecaster said that although it might be a bit too far-fetched, Urahara might help them out by modifying Kenpachi's body to something that can adapt to his Bankai fully. However, this may not be entirely possible since he just came from a tedious fight against Askin and is still suffering from the effects of his opponent's lethal techniques.
Meanwhile, fans over at Manga Helpers are not convinced that Toshiro will be able to defeat the mighty Gerard as the other Elites took at least seven to nine chapters before going down. Also, user cracker said that it would not be Toshiro who will deal the final blow against Valkyrie.
