Jin Goo and Kim Ji Won, best known for depicting a military couple on 'Descendants of the Sun," will be making a guest appearance on the next episode of SBS' "Running Man."
The news comes straight from the horse's mouth, a broadcasting affiliate, who spilled the beans to Korea's Naver TV on April 24, Sunday. The broadcasting affiliate revealed that the so-called Goowoon couple will be participating in the April 25 filming of the show at Incheon City.
Now, a photo of the secondary lead stars was posted on the official "Running Man" Instagram account with the caption, "[Running Man NOW] RM Ep.297 'GooWon couple special' is filming now in Incheon. RM members & guests will do games & missions together.

Apart from the lead stars, American actor David Lee McInnis, who played the menacing gang boss and former Delta Force Captain named David Argus, will also be making an appearance along with Cosmic Girls' Eunseo. The special episode is titled as "Descent of the Sun," which is, of course, a parody of the blockbuster TV series.
It has been learned that Jin and Kim will be exchanging training suits rather than armed force uniform in order to partake in the said variety show. The guest stars will join with the show members and do multiple missions, including wrestling in mud, race missions and pushing each other, The London Tree has learned.
The show's current cast is Yoo Jae Suk, Gary, Haha, Ji Suk Jin, Kim Joong Kok, Lee Kwang Soo and Song Ji Hyo. The upcoming episode 297 is directed by PD Lee Hwan Jin and is said to be broadcast on May 1 at 6:25 PM KST.
While many fans are pleased with the new revelation, the continued clamor over the show's new concept is making a fuss online. Solid fans were disappointed that a lot of events in the current concept did not really tie in with what the show's trademark.
Many fans have pointed out that this may be the reason behind why "Running Man" is currently encountering low viewership ratings. It is now strongly speculated that low ratings only mean the possibility of the show being canceled. The variety show first aired on July 11, 2010, and at present, one of the longest-running programs in six years.
