Spider-Man will have his first appearance on an Avenger film, "Captain America: Civil War." With that said, it has been reported that he might steal the spotlight from Captain America and Iron Man even if his appearance in the film is reported to be quite limited. The Spider Man hype may also serve as a boost to the release of the rumored new "Spider Man" video game.
The rumor started when NerdLeaks tweeted that Sony is developing an untitled "Spider Man PS4 Project." The tweet also cited a possible release of its trailer, which is said to be at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016 in June.

If the gossips are true, then fans of the game should be excited for the upcoming event. For those who do not know NerdLeaks yet, it is a website that was once shut down before, as it leaked information regarding the video game "God of War 4." Although its reputation is quite questionable, a lot of people are saying that the leaked information by NerdLeaks has a possibility to be true, which is why there could be some truth behind the rumored new "Spiderman" video game. On the other hand, a Twitter user, Nibel (@Nibellion), may have also found the source of the rumor, which is said to be Sony. In Nibel's tweet, the twitter user cited an image that indicates a possible "Spider Man PS4" video game in the making. It seems that more and more details are coming out for the rumored "Spider Man" PS4 project.
