"Little Women: LA" star Briana Renee was rushed to the hospital after she suffered from contractions brought about by her pregnancy.
According to People, the doctors at the hospital are closely monitoring her condition and she's expected to stay at the hospital until her contractions have been regulated.
"She's being closely monitored right now and prepped for possible surgery. If the surgery happens, the baby has to come out, too - which will put everyone at risk," the source told the publication.
The insider added that the doctors are doing everything they can to make sure that Briana will not give birth yet especially since she's only six months pregnant.
"The number one goal right now is to keep the baby from coming out. As a little person giving birth to an average-sized child, she's already at high risk," the source added.
Meanwhile, the production for the upcoming episodes of "Little Women: LA" have been cancelled temporarily until Briana has fully recovered.
As of late, some of her cast members have shown up at the hospital to give the Lifetime reality TV star some love and support.
In other news, Briana's husband Matt Ericson freaked out upon hearing the news.
Ericson recently confessed to cheating on his wife while Briana was pregnant. Some fans believe that the latter's recent contractions was brought about by all of the stress that she had to endure the past couple of weeks.
A sneak peek from the upcoming two-hour special of "Little Women: LA," Ericson apologized to Briana while he was crying.
Briana also made it a point to express her thoughts regarding Ericson's apology.
"Seeing Matt cry is never an easy thing. I understand he's hurting. I understand he's sorry. I understand all that, but I don't care," she said.
Following Ericson's cheating scandal, Briana's friends urged her to leave her husband immediately.
At present, Briana hasn't filed for divorce from Ericson. However, she said that it would take a really long time before she could forgive her husband or move on from what he did.
"Little Women: LA's" two-hour finale episode will air on Lifetime on May 11.
