As the people of Aragane starts their journey once more aboard Koutetsojou, they encounter a large horde of Kabanes just before they enter a tunnel. All hell broke loose when these mindless zombies started to sneak in one by one into the train, putting everybody's safety at risk.
Worse, Mumei seems to have run out of steam after an exhausting fight, leaving Ikoma as the only person capable of fending off this Kabane onslaught and saving the day for the people aboard the Iron Fortress.
Episode 3 Summary Recap - Devote Prayer:
The people of Aragne station may have escaped the Kabane attack, but their humanity are barely intact after enduring another traumatic experience. The temporary shelter they found gave them the opportunity to devote prayers to those they lost back home. Now, with the dirty game of politics coming to play, Ikoma is once again in hot water as his existence as Kabaneri proves to be a threat to all the people on board the Iron Fortress.
Kabaneri Updates:
-Manga adaptation of Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress will be making its debut in June's edition of Comic Garden. Shiro Yoshida will be the head of illustrator of the Kabaneri the Manga, although it's still unknown if it's going one-shot or a series.
-Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress will be releasing volume 1 in Blu Ray & DVD version on June 22. For more details, you can check the Kabaneri Blu Ray official website.
-The closing song of Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress titled Ninelie (performed by Aimer & Egoist) will be released on May 11, while the opening song Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress will hit the market on May 25. The Original soundtrack of anime series is scheduled for release on May 18.
-Kabaneri twitter account has already amassed more than 40,000 followers since its debut on April 7, indicating the rising popularity of the anime series.
