May is an exciting time for fans, as developers will be releasing their newest, biggest games for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. Here are the top ten titles you should look forward in the coming days.
Battleborn - PS4, Xbox One and PC
Release date: May 3
According to its official website, this next-generation shooter game, developed by the creators of "Borderlands," centers on a tremendous band of badass heroes that fight to protect the universe's last known star from the forces of evil. Players will be able to use 25 characters and select from different abilities and weapons. According to NDTV, "Battleborn" looks like "Dota 2" with Pixar characters.
Neverending Nightmares - PS4, PS Vita
Release date: May 3
According to the game's description, players will be able to experience "true psychological horror" as they explore different nightmares inspired by the developer's real-life struggles with depression and OCD. As the protagonist drowns in terrifying manifestations in his subconscious, he must struggle to wake up from the nightmares.
The Park - PS4
Release date: May 3
This thrilling game will have you exploring the dilapidated Atlantic Island Park in search of your son, Callum.
Ray Gigant - PS4
Release date: May 3
One of the game's most charming features is the visually-rich, novel-like Japanese storytelling.
Coffin dodgers - Xbox One, PS4
Release date: May 6
Players will race in mobility scooters against the Grim Reaper. The scooters are heavily armed with homemade weapons to take down the Grim Reaper and his zombie army.
Stellaris - PC
Release date: May 8
Dubbed as Paradox's most mod-friendly game.
Uncharted 4: A Thief's End - PS4
Release date: May 10
This will be the last game of the series, concluding Nathan Drake's story that first started in 2007's "Uncharted: Drake's Fortune." The story follows the return of Nathan's brother Sam, who has long been presumed dead.
Doom - PS4, Xbox One and PC
Release date: May 13
The 2016 release is a reboot of the much-loved classic, and will feature weapons from the old and newer versions of the game. The campaign runs for around 13 hours. According to a review from Screen Rant, Id Software has improved the popular "Nightmare" difficulty option. It's now dubbed "Ultra-nightmare" and features a permadeath that will put you back at the beginning if you die mid-game. Developers say no one at Id has managed to beat the "Ultra-nightmare" mode.
Homefront: The Evolution - PS4, Xbox One, PC
Release date: May 17
This futuristic game is set in 2029 in an alternate timeline. Main protagonist Ethan Brady plans a resistance against the North Korean army that has invaded Philadelphia.
Overwatch - PS4, Xbox One and PC
Release date: May 24
This is a team shooter multipayer game that features four character types: tanks, offense, defense and support. All in all, there are 21 heroes from which players can select. The premise of the game is simple: two teams of six will fight against each other in five-minute games. Each team will have to unlock a goal, such as capturing control points.
